What a disgusting excuse for a human being! I don’t think I’ve ever been this mad listening to an episode. After all the times his family bailed him out financially and legally, while he made no effort to better himself. Then they finally lay down some rules, and his only solution is to murder them?? I hope prison has made him realize how good he had it. I’m not even sure I believe that he had depression. A depressed person would still know better than to take advantage of their family like that. It sounds like an excuse he made so he wouldn’t have to change his behavior. On a different topic- interesting music this week, Captain. You auditioning to make the soundtrack for the next Terminator movie? Lol.

I watched the interview tape where the oldest brother came and asked Grant what had happened. I feel so sorry for the surviving member of the family. The tape is so heartbreaking. My heart goes to their family and friends. Great episode as always, captain and nic ! Cheers !!

First, you guys have really become top notch reporters. Nic, your intros are so well-said. I assume you write them, they are A+ work. The writing and delivery. I appreciate you guys trying to take this guy seriously as an addict and/or an obsessive. But he's just a creature. He's just an empty, psychopathic sack of flesh. A wild animal. There is a problem here in the US with mothers babying their sons. This culture creates rapists and famillicide murderers. We need help, we need to stop this. It sounds so dark but it's true. I didn't believe it till I had my own experience with a baby boy (vs girl), I spoil the boy. I'm curious what other women have to say.

This episode really stuck in my jib even more than most. Now i'm as obsessed with this case as if it were a Bulgarian cam model. The trial videos on Youtube are so fascinating. He has to be a sociopath. I can't come up with any other reasonable explanation. With each detail, my heart goes out to the victims and their loved ones. What a nightmare. Thanks for being the best podcast ever!

You have an individual that did not develop at all in regards to social or physical maturity. And his parents allowed that and indulged his childlike existence. I think you literally had a 14 year-old, watching porno all day, and thinking he had a relationship with the performer. A very sorry tale. The way he continued to blame everybody else and ignored his own crimes shows me someone truly socially retarded. He will have a tough go of it in prison.
