Agree with all the cases you listed being ones that have stuck with me. A few others that you’ve done that still haunt me- lane Bryant murders, Jennifer Kesse disappearance, Maura Murray. I can’t wait for the day I can virtually share in your 12 beer garage day celebration that these cases have been solved. THANK YOU for another great year of podcasts and for getting these cases exposure! We love you guys!

How do I listen to old episodes? I want to listen to a few that you mentioned today on your top 5 but I can’t access them on Apple nor on the website.

Nick, I totally agree with you about the Delphi case. That and Amber Hagerman are the two cases I hope more than anything are solved before I die. I've looked online at pics taken at town events too, seeing if I could see bridge guy.

The first podcast episode of any genre I listened to was The Oklahoma girl scout murders, from that point on I was hooked on your show and have now listened to every episode including off the record. I have also introduced many of my friends to your show. One of which will be coming with me to CrimeCon in Austin. Thank you for continuing to put out amazing material despite the craziness of 2020. You guys are great. Much appreciation for the dedication and respect you give to so many cold cases. Have a great holiday and I look forward to hearing more from you guys next year.

Been listening since at least the episodes in the 50s, not sure exactly when I started.
My #1 is Jacob Wetterling. Not only an amazing episode, but I didn't know they had caught his killer. So the fact that you guys go through the cases chronologically just made a huge impact when that reveal came. I had been waiting for years to find out what happened to Jacob, just like so many people, and you were the ones who broke the news to me!

Great episode! And I personally adore the "ums" - it's authentic.

Thank you for another excellent year. I am having trouble with Stitcher. Is there another way to access Off the Record?

Another great year in the books, boys! When I found your show, you had two episodes up, "The Phantom Killer" and "Burger Chef" and they were good enough to get me to come back for more. Third time the charm: your first truly great case/series, to me, was LISK, and your personalities really emerged and clicked for the first time. I have been listening ever since and thoroughly enjoying the show. I have grown tired of a lot of other true crime pods that I at first enjoyed (and some I still enjoyed closed up shop), but not this one. If I were to pick an all-time best list so far, here it is: 5.) LISK 4.) Brandon Lawson 911 3.) JonBenet Ramsey 2.) Boys on the Tracks 1.) Delphi Murders [Honorable Mention: Maura Murray]. But that leaves out so many great ones, like WM3, Jessica Chambers, Holly Bobo, Missy Bevers, Lane Bryant Shooting, BTK, Jodi Huisentruit, Colonial Pkwy, the Girl Scout Murders, I-70, etc. If you follow all the Delphi episodes on TCG including updates, there are 7 so far, which I think may be more than any other case. I so hope we get to see that sack of crap get nailed one day soon! Keep up the great work.
Cheers, mates!

Thanks so much for this one, guys! After listening to this run down, I've started working my way through your Top 10 (well, the 7 I hadn't listened to).
Started with Boys on the Track - unreal story and probably my favourite, so far!
One question - I've got an mouth ulcer. Is my head going to fall off?
Great work!

We always try to get better and make the show experience better and better. So I am super excited for 2021. The Captain and I sat down about two weeks ago and laid out a "killer" case schedule for the first quarter of 21. Sorry for the cheesy pun. It's a fantastic mix of what you have come to expect... Some fairly well-known cases, some cases you have never heard before, some small-town stuff, missing persons and serial killers solved and still yet to be identified. We have scheduled some 1 part cases for those who like a shorter story, we have plenty of the traditional Garage two-part cases and a couple of our deep dives with four-part series. Cheers to you all for making our little Garage show great!
Best Nic

OK so here it goes.....Jen's Top 5
1. Memphis 3
2. Brian Shaffer
3. Maura Murray
4. Delphi Murderers
5. John Bennette Ramsey
Honorable mentions: Oklahoma Girl Scouts, Brandon Lawson, and one episode I cannot remember what it is called. May be you can help. A guy disappears at a hotel where he is staying with his wife I believe (may be girlfriend). He takes a short walk to smoke or something.

Hi Jen - thanks for the list. The episode with the guy who disappeared at the hotel with his wife is the Tyler Davis.
Cheers and Happy New Year!

Heather Teague
Heidi Firkus
I-70 Killer

Thanks, Terry - that's funny. Just popped in my head at the moment. Not sure why but Jake from All-State seems to roll off the tongue better. Regardless he does look goo din the khakis.

You guys rock! I love your show! I discovered your show last December. Jon Benet was your latest episode when I discovered TCG , and I was so impressed by your coverage of her case. For the past year I have been cherry picking episodes, but have followed many put out in 2020. I think Jon Benet will always be my favorite because it was incredible and for nostalgia :). I am from Indiana so Delphi episodes are high on my list of favs. BTK, WM3, Brain Shaffer, Maura Murray, Boys of the Tracks, are all very well done and on my list of favs too. I also appreciate you guys shaking it up a bit and trying some new things like Shaker Heights, Ahmaud Arbery, and Mind Hunter. There are so many more episodes I haven't listened to yet, but will! I know you said you would never cover Making a Murder, but I think you should. You had a non-biased approach with Jon Benet, which is one of the reasons everyone loves it. I know you guys would knock Making a Murder out of the park! Also, an interview with James Fitzgerald would be amazing (just saying)! I look forward to the 2021 episodes! Love you guys! Cheers, Mates!

More and more I enjoy your missing persons cases, esp when you are able to bring a Porchlight case to us (not sure I got that name right!). Maybe because in most missing cases there’s a sliver of hope they may be found whereas homicide is final. I could listen for hours to John Douglass and until a recent OTR episode I didn’t know he was in his 70s! (Though it makes sense.) I get Stitcher Prem just for OTG (yay) and kind of hope you might mention the “latest” cracking of z340 or whatever Zodiac code it was. Bunch of rambling nonsense but be neat to get your two cents :-). If you all ready have and I missed it my apologies. Happy New Year TCG & Co!
