Hey, I am trying to listen to the early episodes on stitcher. I was able to listen to E1 just fine but when I listen to E2 & E3 they start out about the cases they are titled but then a differnt case gets jumbled in. For example in E2 around 4 mins Nick and the Captain suddenly start talking about Columbine then switch back to Burger Chef and then start talking about Jeffery Dahmer. I havent listened to anymore of the older episodes that have just became avaible to see if they do it as well. Curious if anyone else is having this problem?

I am having the same problem as TiaLisa. It's like another episode starts randomly playing in the middle of the titled episode. Episode 2 and 3 so far have been like this.

Go Blue! I am having the Jeffrey Dahmer issue that Dana and Tia have. Also, Ep 5 starts talking about Dahmer and then switches to Long Island Killer at about 7 minutes in...but it's a repeat of Ep 4.

All the episodes after 2 and 3 work alright, but same issue on the issues as TiaLisa.

Sorry for the issues and thank you all. I know stitcher is trying to work through this. Has everyone made sure their apps are up to date. Last night I deleted my stitcher app and downloaded again. Currently I am not experiencing any issues. Cheers Nic

I tried deleting the stitcher app and re-installing it and I am still having problems with episode 2 and 3, episode 1 was fine, and 've listened to most of episode 4 without any problems, but I haven't gotten any further than that. I'm getting frustrated! I was so excited to listen to the old episodes and now disappointed that stitcher is messing them up :(

I’m not sure if there’s a place to comment on episodes on stitcher premium, but I am not seeing it, if there is. So I guess I’ll giask my BTK question here. I’m just wondering what’s up with him showing the picture of the man and woman to the litte boy on the street. From what I understand about this guy, he typically stalked and watched his victims for a long time before he moved in on them. And he supposedly picked women with regular schedules so he could plan the right time for his attack. My only guess as to why he approached the boy and asked him if he knew the people in the photo, is that he thought there was some chance the man in the photo could be with the woman, and he was hoping maybe the boy would give him that information like “oh yeah, they left together a little while ago” or something. But this is a guy who has (I hate to use his assanine little terms) but “projects” all over the city. Why pick someone who could be with a man? Why not choose someone he always saw coming and going alone at a certain time of day? Especially since he’s apparently so unsure she’ll be alone he is willing to risk leaving another eye witness (the boy) behind just to make sure she’s alone. I don’t really have a point I’m just realizing now, lol. It’s just strange. I personally think he always wanted to get caught someday but his behavior this day was riskier than it had to be, making me think he was kind of gambling on getting caught early on. I guess it’s just interesting how much of this was about getting credit for the crimes for him. He was really proud of what he was doing. It’s like the btk stuff was secondary to the the “projects” and the satisfaction he got from completely his mission. This isn’t a mind blowing analysis I realize, but I forgot about the kid on the street and how he ended up targeting that house instead. Also, once I got to what I wanted to say here and realized it wasn’t worth commenting on, it was too late to go back. I’m on my cell phone and it’s unfair to make your thumbs do that much work for nothing. I guess if I have a point it’s that he really played with fire when it came to getting caught, and I wonder if some part of him was just waiting for the day he could confess and take credit for all the murders.

Is this why a lot of episodes were taken down on iTunes? Only 158-Current are showing.

Signed up for Stitcher premium just because of Nic & Capt. Laughing to myself at how different the earlier episodes were! (even though I am a long time listener and huge fan). Lighter on facts, heavier on speculation and beer bottle poppin' - cheers mates!

Yes episodes had to be removed from iTunes. As we are exclusively with stitcher for the "back catalog." It was a compromise but it was the only way to give everyone all of the episodes for free without costing the garage a fortune.

Awesome sauce move guys - loving the old eps. Had similar issues as others above. Was really interested to listen to the LISK eps; no one has really covered this case that well. Got a good chunk down but Pt2 kept jumping to Dahmer and back to Pt 1. No issues past this though, really enjoying some of the older cases. Cheers!
