LETTER FROM THE CAPTAIN

I first want to thank everyone who has listened to the show and the kind words are greatly appreciated. Also the comments have been very helpful. If you have already written to us look for a reply soon. If you haven't written to us yet feel free to do so. With only 4 episodes out we keep climbing the itunes charts and this has already been more than we ever dreamed it would be. We are working harder on the new episodes and learning better ways to produce a better product. We have had some errors and trials but I believe you will see a big difference soon. Our goal is a weekly show and a few ways you can support and help the show grow are 1. Review on Itunes 2. Share on Social Media 3. Write Us. I think that is all for now. We will be doing some Q&A type shows so send those questions in to us and become a bigger part of the show. Hope everyone is doing well. The Captain is out.

SHANNON GILBERT. "She had a titanium plate from a domestic situation she had had with her boyfriend" "Surprise, Surprise". I just started listening to your podcast this morning, and this comment is enough to make me never want to listen to again. It is disrespectful and narrow-minded, do we not live in the 21st century? Its 2016 FYI. Although its an unfortunate and problematic truth that women in this line of work have to deal with abuse, violence and drug related issues, it should not take away from the fact that this particular woman was hurt so badly (prior to getting murdered) that she needed a titanium plate inserted in her jaw. That kind of violence towards a woman SHOULD be a surprise, its horrifying and devastating. The fact that your first reaction to hearing about this was to great it with sarcasm, as if this woman should have expected this to happen to her, is disgusting. This type of thinking is probably the reason why it wasn't investigated to the fullest to begin with. If you're going to be discussing crimes like this I suggest jumping of your misogynistic high-horse and being a little more empathetic to the trauma the people your discussing have endured.

I enjoy the podcast. Nic has a great delivery and I like the cut of your jib. Keep up the great work! Penticton is known for its wine but we have beer too. Bad Tattoo Brewery, Cannery Brewing Company and Tin Whistle are all great craft brewerys from town. They have both light and dark beers for your drinking pleasure. Its a great place to Vacation too! Thanks again for tha podcast!

Love your show. I drive a tractor mowing large parks near San Francisco and listen all the time. I,m a HUGE car guy and when Nic said “He was seen in a Chevrolet Corvair... I think that’s like a Monte Carlo” I just about spit out my coffee!,,, a Corvair would be more like Chevys answer to the VW Karmen Gaia. They were rear engine and NOT popular... anywho stick to crime and NOT classic cars!, much love for real though! Keep it up guys,
