This case is making me so angry. I work in property management and I wish Dani and her mom would have gone to Floyd’s boss to have his supervisor tell Floyd he needed to back off! He’s obviously unhinged so I don’t know that it would have helped but damn.

So sad and I am so sorry for Dani and her family.

So familiar with this situation. Men often mistake kindness for flirtation. A female being 'nice' does not always equate to interest. Men are terrible at recognizing this. I appreciate The Garage for explaining this common occurrence listeners.

Hey guys, long time fan and love the show. Cheers to ya both! Considering I'm an old friend of Dani's, this case really hit home to me. Thanks for covering it- even though it brought tears to my eyes hearing it...Again, you guys rock and thanks for being awesome.

Yes Captain you are right we women have to deal with creepers all the time! Even at work. And I feel for Dani. She should have went to her boss or Floyd boss but she might not have known how he would react. We all know they say it can remain confidential but things get around an office. I wonder how Floyd got her cell #? Unless it was on employee records. So scary he assaulted someone afterwards and that's how they finally made him a suspect in Dani's case!!! And his poor wife! Ugh what a sad story

He has several records of crimes committed so hey ! let's hire him as a security guard??

this perp was obviously no genius as essentially every other part of his trash premeditated plan fell apart under the scrutiny of law enforcement, but that makes this even more puzzling..

this also makes me think that she was probably placed in a dumpster or something of that nature and taken away, none the wiser. the only way this moron could have gotten away with it for this long is that someone else, who was actually good at their "job" came along behind him in ignorance and cleaned up. i'll bet this jag saw some mob movie or watched the sopranos with his, "i can make a body disappear," b.s.

Never heard of this case but definitely interesting since it’s from Michigan love the show guys! You should do an update episode once there is a trial after covid!

This is such a sad sad case.
Whilst listening I couldn’t help but wonder, due to the unbelievable premeditation, if the attack on the jogger might’ve been a dry run - as if he was testing himself to see if he could actually go through with it.
I hope the trial brings Dani justice and hopefully her final resting place.

Betty, I concur. As they were reading her texts it was clear as day to me as a woman, who is often put in this same position, that she was turning him down politely. But she may as well have been speaking another language. He didnt get the hint. Bottom line-if a woman wants you, she will not turn down an invite. Period. If she turns it down, without suggesting and alternative date or activity, keep it moving buddy.

Didn’t the insurance company require their employees to badge in and out at work? After 9-11 most financial services companies tightened security to track who goes in and out- not only for security within but to account for employees should a disaster occur.

This is such a tragic case. You guys did a great job of presenting it.

Hi Jan and Katt - yes, there is a part 2 for Danielle Stislicki's case. There is only 1 part for the Glass and Mason case.
If it's not appearing sometimes the device needs an update or the old reboot. Hope it appears for you both soon. It's an interesting case. The investigation and work conducted by the investigators was amazing. I wish every Police Department was as smart as this one.

I thank God that I am a male, because I have seen how females are treated by unstable males my whole life. I dealt firsthand with a stalker that tried to assault my girlfriend after several instances of creepy behavior (that was reported). There was no reasoning with the guy, he was gone. Some females are nice people and they treat everybody with respect and are kind. Weirdos will interpret that as flirting. They are delusional, seeing stuff that is not there. We need stronger criminal statutes and tougher law enforcement of those statutes, because many of these stalkers are a threat (as shown in this case). My girlfriend ended up having to move and live in fear. The situation was stressful for me as well as I had to free as much time as possible to protect her and worry about her when I was not with her. I see so many similarities in this case that were present in my girlfriend's case. Thankfully the results were not the same.
